A global heavy industry is looking to hire a Mining Engineer Senior. Functions
and job characteristics:
Role
* Mine pit design, short and medium term planning
* Development of plans for the open pit including, but not limited to, earthmoving,
blasting and sequencing of waste dumps.
* Take ownership of the medium & short term plan for the operation
* Coordination and control of the mining contractors.
* Ensure the safe efficient day to day operation of the mine.
Training
Mining Engineer
Desirable:
* Mining software (Datamine, Surpac, Vulcan…)
* GIS software (ArcGIS)
* Familiarity with JORC and NI 43-101 reporting requirements
* 8-10 years experience in heavy industry
Languages
* A high standard of written and oral communications skills including fluency in English and Spanish
